Wrap delicate items like glassware in tissue or paper towels, then wrap them in newspaper that has been flattened. Wrap each cup individually in tissue or paper towels if you are using a dish packing carton to pack the cups. Finally, place the cups upside-down on top of the tissue and extra tissue.

Cushioning Packing material
Place a cushioning material on the bottom of the carton. Wrap each plate in crushed newsprint and place them in layers. To fill in the spaces between plates, add extra tissue or cloth to protect them from colliding and breaking.
